Gokudera as I already mentioned before is one the main characters of the Reborn series. His name is shorthand by fan as 59 in which '5' in Japanese is 'go' and '9' in Japanese can be pronounced 'ku', hence 'goku'(dera). He is also referred as Smoking Bomb which is due to the fact he smokes and his signature weapon is dynamite. He is 14 years old at the start of the series. His birthday is September 09 and fall under the zodiac sign of Virgo. His height is 168 cm while his weight is 54 Kg. He has a gorgeous silver hair. His blood type is B and according to Japanese blood type personality chart these types are wild, active, doer personality which I thinks fits Gokudera. The ABO blood type (ketsueki-gata in Japanese) is considered as factor to determine personality. It is very popular in Japan especially among women. Manga authors always mentioned the character's blood types to match up their individual personalities. His favorite magazine is The Wonders and Mysteries of the World a monthly magazine because Gokudera has odd fondness on mythical animals (i.e Loch Ness Monster). His favorite animal is the Ogopogo (based on Haru’s HaruHaru Interview Dangerous). He has an older half sister, Bianchi.

He is born in Italy and is 3/4 (father) Italian and 1/4 (mother) Japanese. His father is a boss of a mafia family while her mother is talented pianist whom probably the reason why he can (and very good at it) play the piano. His future dream is to become the tenth's right-hand man. Currently he is a middle high school student of Namimori Jr. High and classmate of Tsuna, Yamamoto and Kyoko. He is one of Tsuna’s Seven Vongola Guardians.
