As Tsuna’s Storm Guardian there’s nothing I can complain about Gokudera. He did his best to fulfill his duty. He is even happy and proud to be part of the family. Despite Tsuna’s warning on how dangerous the upcoming battles are. Like Iemistu said, he is the only mid range fighter on their group so his position is very vital. And don’t try putting his lost in the Storm Match against him because he is willingly giving up his very own life to win that battle. But thanks to Tsuna he realized something, he now values what is far more important, his life, and his friends and with that he made a wiser decision.

But as for the right hand man, lol, this out of the blue essay summarized everything. He is the self proclaimed right hand man. Of course, I consider him a lot regardless of that essay being Hibari biased lol. The fact that I find more hints on Hibari than with Gokudera making my theory more plausible. But knowing Hibari’s personality and Gokudera unwillingly giving up which for him is a sacred position, I think it’s not an easy position to be filled. And Tsuna maybe considered them equally important but the one he trusted the most is something we should look forward to. But don’t forget to cast your ballots to Gokudera, he might, and will try his best to be “the one.”
