expectationsMy, oh my, the time has come to think thoroughly and connect to my inner fangirl soul as to why I like Gokudera. Tsuna remains to be my favorite character and that would never change. In spite this shrine is much more heavy opinionated, is the fact Gokudera has great characterization (kudos to Ms. Amano) not that Tsuna doesn’t have an interesting character, I wanted this shrine to have a different approach than Sky Flame. Reborn has great line up of interesting characters, although Tsuna won my heart completely, Gokudera somewhat trying to steal my heart away from him despite he is everything in real life I wouldn’t go on a date. One, he smokes, I dislike smoking, I don’t smoke and never will, I still wishes he quit it but as long as I don’t smell the foul odor of tobacco then fine by me. Two, I'm not really into long haired guy with punk fashion, it’s not that it’s a bad thing, it's too fashionable (?), and I’m type of person who sets thing on minimal, I like simplicity. And lastly, he is too intelligent and I having a low esteem make feel like an idiot around him. Basically he is the exact opposite of my ideal guy. But how come I like him? Just because he is different to my preferences will make his personality lesser appealing, of course not. This entire shrine proves it by now. For once, Gokudera is just been misunderstood; you need to go deeper with his character to get to know his motives. In fact everyone can relate to him whether you have similarities or differences. If they like Tsuna because his cute and humorous personality (I’m not referring to myself, lol), Hibari with his aloofness and serious nature, and Yamamoto with his care free and optimistic personality, then for me Gokudera’s personality is something I can genuinely associated with. And my expectation on his character fulfilled with flying colors. Thanks so much Amano sensei~ |
