59: the storm gurdian

The arrival of Squalo member of an elite assassination group of Vongola – The Varia and the seven half Vongola rings brought by Basil, a member of the Vongola External Advisor’s group stir up a commotion on their peaceful lives.

Reborn and Sawada Iemistsu, the Vongola External Advisor had chosen Gokudera as Tsuna’s Storm guardian along with Sasagawa Ryohei (Sun), Lambo (Thunder), Yamamoto Takeshi (Rain), Rokudo Mukuro/Chrome Dokuro (Mist) and Hibari Kyouya (Cloud).

Now that their position had been filled, they must fight against the Varia in a Vongola Ring tournament. They will fight individually against a member of Varia, corresponding to the rings they hold. Gokudera will fight against Belphegor, Varia’s most intelligent member. Ten days before the fights begun, they went on training with their individual home tutors as a preparation for the upcoming battle. Gokudera seek help again with his “dynamite mentor” Dr. Shamal. At first Shamal rejected him, because of the reason Gokudera has yet no clue as to what it was. So he tried training alone but while he was on training, the dynamites almost hit him, Tsuna’s father, Iemistu arrived and saved him and even gave him an advice. This gave Gokudera a realization on how important his life. Shamal agreed to train him again.

Gokudera battle against Belphegor was unfortunately resulted to a lost, this is because he followed what Tsuna asked him to – give up the fight and avoid his death. And when they accidentally transported 9 years and 10 months in the future they’ve encountered several nemeses from the Milliefiore family. The fights, whether he won or lost, he gained experience from it and finally, the most awaited battle, they are about to face Byakuran and the Funeral Wreaths.
