59: the battle

Kokuyo Arc

Suddenly the students of Kokuyo started attacking the students of Namimori based on their ranking in terms of prowess, Gokudera and was ranked 3rd. Because of this he was attacked by Chikusa who later revealed to be an escape prisoner along with some other escapee with their leader – Rokudo Mukuro. He was severely injured during that battle but thanks to Dr. Shamal and his trident mosquito he recovered and decided to join the infiltration to the enemy’s hideout. While Tsuna looked for the real Mukuro, Gokudera fight Ken and Chikusa and even helped Hibari to defeat them. After his own battle he went to see Tsuna but was used by Mukuro by possessing him, he was later saved by Tsuna.

Vongola Ring Arc

After one win and one lost, it’s now Gokudera’s turn, the third match – the Storm battle. At first Gokudera was having a difficulty fighting evenly with Belphegor. But he found out the trick of his attack. But the time is running out and the explosives went off. Due to Tsuna’s persuasion to return to them, he abandoned the fight. Unfortunately Belphegor managed to live, making him the winner of that battle.

Future Arc

His first battle was against Millefiore Family's Blackspell members, Nosaru, although he has no clue how the battle strategy used in that era he decided to try and using his Vongola ring with the box of his future self, a weapon appeared, he named it flame arrow, using this he defeated the enemy. Later, with Yamamoto they’ve encountered Gamma, one of the squad captains of Millefiore. Due to Gamma’s strong power they were defeated but saved by 10 years later Hibari. They went under training again and decided to break into Melone Base. There, he gain met Gamma and when Ryohei unable to defeat him took the battle and using his Systema C.A.I or Sistema Cambio Arma Istantaneo (lit. System Change Arms Instantaneous or Instantaneous Arms Change System in Italian) and his box animal Uri. Right now, after they heard the truth from Irie they are now preparing a battle against Byakuran and his real Funeral wreaths.
